Angus & Julia Stone – Paper Aeroplanes (Zohdy & Senna’s Rework) 0

Straight out the SlothBoogie mailbox comes this little bassline strapped rework of Angus & Julia Stone – Paper Aeroplanes. Sent in by Mr. Senna who has reworked the slow folk original alongside Zohdy into a chuggy deep number that stays kinda true to the mellow vibes of the original. Grab it for free below:

Edit Murphy – Need You / Brooklyn Nights 0

Edit Murphy returns with two fine slices of deep and laidback house due for release on Smoke n Mirrors on the 17th May. Need You is a seriously mega chilled out affair that is a complete dream inducer. Brooklyn Nights is classic deep house thats a really smoooothy. How could one add more smootheness to this package? Well how about getting in smoother than smooth group PillowTalk in on the remix? Thats what happened here… as well as drafting in the equally impressive Fantastic Man who has been in great form of late.
(News has hit our wires that Edit Murphy is also preparing the second instalment of his fame making Motown Edits… we cannot wait for these!!!)

Dicky Trisco – For The Love DJ Mix + Disco Deviance with Rahaan 0

Dicky Trisco turns in a discotastic mix for the “For The Love Radio Show” and you can get a taste of what the mustachioed disco head has got up his sleave ahead of the return of Disco Deviance at Queen of Hoxton on the 8th June. Pete Herbert and Dicky’s label bring in Rahaan who’s last release was right old boogie fest! He’s also put together a mix for the party which is gonna be so damn funky!
We’ll be on hand to warm things up early so come on down and say Haaaay!

Pleasure Pump – Fantasize (Leftside Wobble Edit) 0

Leftside Wobble turns in another touch up of an old school underground gem… This time he’s picked a dirty deep house classic from 1987… “This ones all about the overdubs, which hopefully lift the stripped back groove to a higher place without taking away from the underground feel of the original.”
Grab it for free below… (If it sounds oddly familiar then it might because Maxxi Soundsystem brought it back when he used it for “Get Up” on his release on Nurvous.)
