Singe Linge Lisco Disco (Drop Out Orchestra & Martin Brodin Edit) 0
Have we got a treat for you this morning!
But first a bit of revision… Let us introduce/remind you about Mr Martin Brodin.
In 2010 Martin changed his musical direction and turned his path to the roots of the music he always loved and admired. As a Disco Music aficionado he felt it was the time to dig deep into his extensive record collection from the early seventies to mid eightees and dust off the rare and collectible vinyls. After almost half a year of listening and getting inspired (again) he was ready to pay tribute to the scene of Disco and the subgenres of it of today.
That leads us to today where he runs his MB Disco label with releases and remixes from some of the cream of the disco crop (Ilija Rudman, Ray Mang, Chicken Lips and Drop Out Orchestra to name but a few). He also does his own productions, remixes and is a mighty fine DJ… Just check his soundcloud to see why. Lately he’s been remixing Human League on Wall Of Sound, remixing classic tracks as Giorgio Moroder’s The Chase and Newcleus Jam On It.
To cut a long story short Martin Brodin will be releasing his own album soon and got in touch with the Sloth to get some hype hype hype. So to get things rolling we’re posting this little gem of an edit which is an edit of a Swedish Disco song from 1981. Not so well known outside of Sweden, so here is your chance to get to know it and a taster of what Martin can do.
Ooooh and did we mention its also had Drop Out Orchestra’s hands all over it?
