Big fan of J. Phlip’s output. Ever since her speaker destroying Rumble Rumble came out on Dirtybird a few years ago she has consistently come up with the goods by treading the fine line between booty shaking juke and house music. This year she seems to have really upped her production game with a superb EP for Dirtybird and a beautifully stunning EP on Pets Recordings as well as this cheeky vinyl only collab with the Grizzl (aka CVS).with more exciting releases in the pipeline.
As far as her DJing credentials are concerned, let’s face it, when Claude VonStroke himself requests you to be his own tour DJ then you got to be a’iiite.
