Storm Queen – Look Right Through – Jamie Jones + Dimitri From Paris + MK + Art Department Remixes 1
Hard to believe that the debut of Morgan Geist under his Storm Queen guise was 2 years ago now!… as it grew and grew it was eventually snapped up by Defected and in laymans terms that means lots of big name remixes! So many in fact that they need to be split up into 2 parts.
Dropping February 1st, Part 1 includes remixes from Aeroplane, Dimitri from Paris and – fresh from winning top spot on RA’s Best DJ of 2011 – Jamie Jones.
Then on February 29th Part 2 goes deep, with a remix from Toronto favourites Art Department and two further remixes from MK.
The first big name to have a go is Jamie Jones and was premiered on Pete Tong the other night… Not really our favourite though…:
A much tastier remix for me is the Dimitri From Paris take on it as he takes us back in time to the 90s house era and a happier/fruity feel!:
MK turns in some great garagey bassed up versions with nicely chopped vocals:
Art Department’s remix does absolutely nothing for us to be honest…

the new-ish vocals on the MK mix give this great track a whole new life. unbelievable work from MK.
