Tazz-mania 0
Tsuba Records, the deep house label spearheaded by Kevin Griffiths, has been killing it recently with top drawer Eps from the likes of Spencer Parker, Jordan Peak and most recently Moodtrap. Needless to say, the terrific UK based imprint has been making some serious tidal waves of late with their emotive & interesting take on House and it’s with much anticipation that I await their first full length artist LP.
With many label collaborations already under their belt, Tsuba’s first full artist album comes from Tazz who, after having previously released on labels such as Underground Quality, is definitely one to look out for this year. With the release date of “Adventures of Tazz” set for the end of March, you can take a sneak peek at the album sampler below.
With four tracks previewed there’s plenty here to wet your whistle as each cut is drenched in raw vibes and neatly dipped in chi-town acid flavour. My picks of the bunch being the synth lead “Giovanni’s Keys” and the brilliantly named “Captain Groove and the Oscillators”. Definitely one for the headz!
He also dropped a superb mix for Fact Magazine last year which you can check out below…
