We love the output from WOLF Music at Slothboogie, in particular Frits Wentink, who’s magnificent podcast we posted about last year. WOLF are impressively putting out their 3rd LP following from Medlar and Greymatter, and nobody is more suitable than Wentink, who effortlessly blends in jazz cuts with softer house and disco loops.
The Dutchman has a pretty esteemed back catalogue on the likes of Heist Recordings, and his debut LP, Rarely Pure, Never Simple, builds on his exploration of messed up grooves, and experimental riffs. It’s the kind of stuff you can imagine being played on the Sunday of Dimensions in Croatia. Be sure to check out the tracks with vocals from Loes Jongerling!
