Patterns Brighton Preview

So the long lauded institute that was Audio is no more. However out of the ashes rises another club called Patterns – thats about as close as I can get to dramatic intro after an easter bank holiday weekend pretending that this moment would never come…

So whats new for the venue thats now owned by SlothBoogie favourites Mothership Group (they run the Queen of Hoxton where we’ve held down our residency for 3 years now.) looking at the press releases & their facebook posts all is changing. But with a commitment to uphold the legacy thats gone before with cutting edge lineups in a creative space for lovely people – which should sound like music to most peoples ears.

Hopefully this is work in progress, rather than the ‘unfinished’ aesthetic.

So a new layout, soundsystem & with refits outside & upstairs the whole place should be looking good when it opens on May 15th, big shapes, stained glass keeping with the buildings original art deco vibe. We can’t wait to get ourselves down there for something soon, and with an opening month that includes DJ Nature, Jeremy Underground, Deetron, DVS1, Gilles Peterson & Ivan Smagghe any night you pop your head in your guaranteed some top tunes to explore the space with. Up here in the big smoke we’re almost a bit jealous, hopefully we can follow this up with a review over the summer so watch this space.
