Danny Daze – Ready 2 Go

This latest techno thumper from Danny Daze is a little special!
We start off with a pounding driving Techno bassline that gets softened ever so slightly by some synth bleeps and mold together with vocal snippets to form a very addictive track!
Ready 2 Go comes on the Dual Ep for Ultramajik that also includes a heavier banger called Rhythm Box and is out next week.

If you haven’t already then make sure you check out his new experimental monthly podcast series entitled Sunday Morning as its a great alternative to the usual chilled vibe you may be used to.

On ‘Ready2Go’ I wanted to make a track that is driving and influenced by dryness. The bassline and synth bell tone are very dry and represent a Detroit techno sound that has always influenced me. With ‘Rhythm Box’, I wanted to make a pounding techno record with good drums. The vocal influence came from an old movie, called ‘Liquid Sky’, one of my go-to movies for inspiration.

Danny Daze has been busy in his rave cave coming up with some techno monster for the Berlin based Ultramajic label. The 3 track EP is pretty full on and aimed straight for the peak time fist pumping crew. There’s a while to wait though as the Silicon EP won’t be released until February 17th.

Can’t wait to hear this on a big system!
