The SUOL team just put this Fritz Kalkbrenner – Turnpike track up just as I was going to bed. Originally its a digital bonus track on the Here Today Gone Tomorrow album and its a pretty lovely bit of deep emotive techno. Kind of like a strange lullaby.
Enjoy and sweet dreams… or if your a on the other side of the world just about getting up then this should be a lovely way to start the day.

These were never meant to get a release and were being used by Fritz exclusively for his live shows… but due to public demand verging on riots the SUOL mandem caved in and are giving it a very well deserved release today.

I’ve been a big fan of Mr Till von Sein and his SUOL Records crew for a while now (I’m sure you will have noticed my endless ramblings about them as soon as some new bits are out…)
Anyways my favourite Berliners have thought it was very much time to bring out a full length TVS album and it will finally be with us on the 28th October.
Its so hard to stick TVS in a genre box which is no bad thing… this album is a diverse journey through whatever the hell Till fancies making and however he fancies making it.
The majority of the album is a gorgeous soulful affair mixing up lots of different styles thats happily ingested in the comfort of one’s home… A couple of dancefloor ready tracks are thrown in too to tide you over when you do go out. (Non Existent Love is a massive tune!)
There’s lots of familiar faces on the album that you’ll recognise from their tight knit group of label friends… Fritz Kalkbrenner, Catz ’n Dogz, Chopstick, Tigerskin, Aera and Thalstroem. Altogether its definitely worth checking out when it hits the shops…
