SlothBoogie Guestmix #041 – Lonely Boy

Futureboogie start off their 2015 release schedule with a stylish twisted disco track from Lonely Boy, AKA Joshua Heath. If you don’t know about Lonely Boy then here’s a little background… the Californian producer has a track record for finely crafted house music on labels like Miguel Migs’ Salted Music and the Inland Knights’ Drop Music. His Lonely Boy moniker has yielded music for Culprit and Winding Road, and this FBR release comes backed with an epic remix from The Emperor Machine.

‘I Like Disco’ is as addictive as it gets with that vocal hook worming its way deep into your brain. Accompanied by a strutting bassline and unnerving breakdowns this is a sure fire party jam. B-side ‘The Subtle Frenzy’ is also killer!
Grab it now on Juno.

Casino Times – Lower Level Sounds EP

Our mates Casino Times have got a superb new EP coming on Futureboogie called Lower Level Sounds… It definitely does what it says on the tin as there’s a great shimmering depth on all these new burners.
Opening track ‘Used To Be’ is pretty much the perfect intro to a DJ set… with its little boops and beeps developing into a rich and epic beast of a tune. All 4 tracks on this collection have got lots of room to breath and you can’t help but enjoy the low slung techno vibesthat come rolling in so smoothly in each of the tracks’ build ups.
Their best work to date and a clear sign of bigger and better things in 2015.
Grab it on December 8th.

If you’re looking for some free download shit head to XLR8R for a grittier freebie called ‘Lost’.

Hackman – Change My Life EP

Futureboogie’s on a real roll right now release wise… We loved the last Crazy P EP and this new one from Hackman is another great addition to the Bristol powerhouse’s stable. There’s ample amounts of skippy bass and lush vocals across all 3 tracks and we’re looking forward to playing this one out on the regular in the coming month.
Grab it from the 9th December.
