Futureboogie 10

What a year for Futureboogie… I mean seriously… going from a pretty special booking agency and rocketing up to super party promoters and now record label! Where will they stop? Nobody knows… Maybe they’ll be a multimedia conglomerate by Christmas?
We know their growth has been insanely fast but this has in no way meant that the quality hasn’t been there.

They started everything off last summer with Julio Bashmore’s Father Father and instantly we all knew that Futureboogie meant ballsy business…

Fast forward to now and their first album/compilation sounds like a ‘best of’!
All the big names are on there like Eats Everything, Julio Bashmore, Waifs and Strays as well as some fresh new recruits to the Futureboogie fam.

All in all if you want a slice of what everyone on the underground bass music scene will be talking about for ages then get hold of it from February 27th.

Parallel Dance Ensemble – Shopping Cart (Maxxi Soundsystem Remix)

What a year and a bit for Maxxi Soundsystem’s Sam Watts… Just seems like the hype around him won’t be quitting anytime soon. (And rightly so…) Continually impressing everyone around him with his latest remix or original work its hard to tell where he’s going to end up in hype world at the end of this year.
His debut Make Or Break EP on Needwant has done amazingly well as well as his latest remix for Permanent Vacation’s Parallel Dance Ensemble which has been riding high at the top of the beatport chart for aaaages. His latest solo work ‘Into the Future’ will be coming on one of the hottest releases so far this year… the new FutureBoogie 10 compilation.

We’ll just have to sit back and see what this nocturnal producer can pluck out of the dark early hours when everyone else is fast asleep.

The Garden Festival 2012 – A New Beginning…

News broke late last year that The Garden Festival team were having trouble re-negotiating the right to host the festival on the grounds of the Pinaj Hotel. The Gardeners had been hosting the amazing party there for a solid 5 years and unfortunately our worst fears came true as we were told that last years Garden Festival was to be its last on that magical site.

Fast forward a few months on from what must have been an insanely busy and head ache inducing time and we are now greeted with the news of a brand new site and best of all that the Garden Festival will continue as strong as ever in 2012!

We can now show you lots of new pics and give you all a feel for what one of my best ever festival experiences so far.

Proposed Beach Stage Location below:

The new site is located about an hour away from the original site and slap bang in between Split and Zadar airports.
This year you’ll be able to take advantage of a sandy beach for the brand new Beach Stage aswell as a few more surprise changes including the chance to  party late on into the night at the new open air Barbarellas which was a nagging no go over in Zadar before… only thing is it that you have to get a connecting bus over to it at the end of each day in the Tisno site but its only 10 mins.

Next up to chat about is the accomodation… and boy are you in for a treat!
You can either choose from a series of different sized apartments or from some MASSIVE luxury tents that are all really close to the main site so you can be right  in the heart of the whole festival:

All thats left is the music and the line up which will be getting drip fed to us all over the coming months. I can guarantee that the names that do come up will all be absolutely amazing since the bookers are the mighty mighty FutureBoogie and they can handle themselves on the dancefloor.

Tickets start at £90 for a weeks worth of entertainment.
Return flights from London are around £180.
