If you’re looking for some hypnotic zoning out sounds then we can’t recommend the new album from Dorisburg highly enough. Released digitally today on the trusty Spanish label Hivern Discs… purveyors of brilliant dreamy music. The Hivern Discs crew always plow a load of love into their products and the Irrbloss album is no exception with its incredible artwork and packaging.
Here’s a new Hivern Discs drop for all those weird 7″ fans out there!
On the A-side is a odd-ball synth edit from Roman Flugel and on the flip is a Tarantinotastic Dusty edit from John Talabot… one for the collectors for sure… but you can only grab a copy if you head over to Prince Charles in Berlin on the day of the next Hivern Label night on the 16th October.
DJs usually complain all the time about the travelling they do… fair enough if you have to deal with that shit everyday. John Talabot on the other hand just gets on with it and uses those downtimes to make some special edits. He’s collected a few that have kept him going whilst on tour recently in the playlist below… Some real gems in there!
“When I’m on tour travelling I do edits. While waiting in airports, customs, hotels, soundchecks or travelling in planes, cars, vans, trains or boats I do them.
Here’s a small selection of edits I’ve done, some of them are released, some of them will be, some of them won’t, but you will have them here :) hope you like them.” – John Talabot
Some super limited underground vinyl business for you courtesy of John Talabot and his synthedit for Philomena. Get sucked into its amazingly trippy and floaty moments that will make this an instant favourite for all those basement fun times.
Its out today so grab it asap from Mutingthenoise or be forever disappointed!
