BW002 – Maddslinky – Compuphonic / Compufonique (Part Deux)

Hot on the heels of international club destroyer AU SEVE… the second release on Julio Bashmore’s very own Broadwalk Records comes from Mr. Maddslinky aka Zed Bias. What he delivers is a dark slice of tech-house excellence in the form of ‘Compuphonic.

Available from Beatport on Sep 9th and 12″ and Broader digital release Sep 23rd… get ready!

Bobby Womack – Love Is Gonna Lift You Up (Julio Bashmore Remix)

JB’s summer weapons keep coming as he delivers a dark clickety and mood drenched remix of Bobby Womack’s Love Is Gonna Lift You Up. The original is a much happier affair but Bashmore sweeps aside most of the original vibes and heads straight for a dark house monster.

Futureboogie 10

What a year for Futureboogie… I mean seriously… going from a pretty special booking agency and rocketing up to super party promoters and now record label! Where will they stop? Nobody knows… Maybe they’ll be a multimedia conglomerate by Christmas?
We know their growth has been insanely fast but this has in no way meant that the quality hasn’t been there.

They started everything off last summer with Julio Bashmore’s Father Father and instantly we all knew that Futureboogie meant ballsy business…

Fast forward to now and their first album/compilation sounds like a ‘best of’!
All the big names are on there like Eats Everything, Julio Bashmore, Waifs and Strays as well as some fresh new recruits to the Futureboogie fam.

All in all if you want a slice of what everyone on the underground bass music scene will be talking about for ages then get hold of it from February 27th.
