Marcos Valle – Estrelar

Marcos Valle’s Estrelar is a classic boogie track that you are likely to have heard lots of this summer as its been doing the rounds again lately. There’s lots of dodgy edits out there but the original has always been a bit tricky/expensive to get hold of. If you’ve been looking out for one thats not a rip off then now’s your chance as the original classic is getting a new lease of life and a pressing on Brazil 45s, the Mr Bongo offshoot.

The AA flip “Robson Jorge & Lincoln Olivetti – Alleluia” is pretty remarkable too and well worth hitting up the Mr. Bongo shop for.

Hollie Cook – Looking For Real Love (Medlar Disco Remix)

We got another hot premiere on our hands…

One of WOLF Music’s finest, Medlar, takes Hollie into Philly disco territory, featuring sax by Pete Ishmael.

Over the past three years Medlar has slowly but surely been putting together pieces of his own puzzle of a musical career and gaining fans and attention from all the right people. His raw and emotive take on production has laid solid foundations with tracks such as Terrel, gaining recognition and support from tastemakers including Floating Points and DJ Nature to name a few.

The package also includes ‘Medlars Love Dub’, during which he flips the mix into dubby reggae disco.

Stream both reinterpretations below and grab the full tracks on Monday 27th April via Mr Bongo.
