Fouk – Gruff

The popularity of Dutch duo Fouk seems to only go from strength to strength with each release. We first heard them when they popped up on Detroit Swindle’s Heist Recordings with that wicked ‘Ken Sent Me’ track which instantly caught our attention. The boys are back with a new set of Housed up Disco and Boogie treats and will be releasing on our mates over at House of Disco early next year.

The Gruff EP is that perfect blend of Disco with Housey undercurrents and the whole package is pretty sweet… especially when you’ve got Ron Basejam, Harry Wolfman and Snacks on remix duties too!

Ron Basejam – Tales From The Night EP

The House of Disco team are back raring to go for Spring with a great EP from Mr. Ron Basejam. In an effort to get back to their Disco roots they’ve secured 5 diverse and accomplished originals from the Crazy P man… ‘Tales From The Night’ is his first solo EP of original work since 2011 and it takes in some great varieties of Disco flavours from stomping opener “When I Hear That Music” to more laidback crooner moments with “Kag”.

Grab the whole EP from the 11th May.

WOLFWHITE004

Another great addition to anyone’s WOLF Music collection is the 4th offshoot on their white label 12 series which isout now on Juno.

The A1 is a peach… Ron Basejam – “Dippin’ In” featuring some subtly altered Danielle Moore vocals on a dreamy piano loop gives it a super dreamy floaty vibe thats sure to get the thumbs up from many a warm up jock out there.

Catch the team at Dalston’s best underground Dance Tunnel with Ossie and Chicago Damn on the 5th December.
